System comes with everything you need to get started but you will need some more bags for it. If you can't afford the bags try using those plastic grocery bags as an alternative. Its a great machine to help with odor. Sometimes people get used to the odors in their home and don't realize it but this is so easy to use to help keep your home clean and odor free. It good for all kinds of pet messes including birds messes (yes I have 5 finches that throw seed shells everywhere and I'm constantly sweeping up the shells.
